Cambria, a charming coastal village located midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco is where the Monterey Pines meet the Pacific. Cambria offers art galleries, antique stores, interesting restaurants, dozens of area wineries for wine tastings, and is just six miles from the incredible Hearst Castle. There are also a number of attractive B & B's in Cambria, many located along the ocean on Moonstone Beach Drive. One of my favorites is the WHITE WATER INN where I've put together a special money-saving two night mid-week getaway.

The inn has 17 rooms with six set aside for my package. These special rooms have king beds, fireplaces, partial ocean views, whirlpool tubs, TV's and VCR's. Fluffy robes add that extra touch. You'll have a complimentary basket with a bottle of sparkling wine from Tobin James Cellars, a local winery, plus an assortment of gourmet snacks supplied by Fermentations, a fascinating wine store in Cambria.

The package includes an $85.00 certificate towards dinner for two at the nearby Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill, a very delightful ocean view dining experience and one of my long time personal favorites in Cambria. You can select anything that suits your fancy from the eclectic menu. Their menu lists fresh fish of the day, steaks, pastas, and seafood specialities. Don't miss the Cajun prawns and scallops or their hearty cioppino. For dessert I recommend the ice cream and seasonal berries sauteed in Grand Marnier.
